• Account credentials when you register an account on neatroots.com.

• Payment information, processed directly by Stripe or PayPal. We never see, store, or transmit your full card details.
• Testimonials, reviews, or other content you voluntarily submit.

B. Information collected automatically when you use the Services

• IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size.
• Pages visited, time spent, referring URL, and clickstream behavior.
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5).
• Login attempts and security-relevant events, collected by our security plugin Wordfence.

C. Information from third parties

• Payment confirmation and order data from Stripe and PayPal.
• Engagement data from embedded YouTube videos and our community on Discord and Instagram. These are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies.

6. Community and public spaces

Neat Roots maintains a community on Discord, as well as YouTube comment sections and social media channels such as Instagram. These are public or semi-public spaces.

Anything you share in these spaces, including questions, project showcases, replies, or voice in live sessions, can be seen, collected, or used by other members and by the platform itself.

Use your judgment before sharing personal information (full name, contact details, work history) in our community. The platforms hosting these spaces operate under their own privacy policies. We do not control their practices.

7. Data sharing and disclosure

We share information only in these circumstances:

• With the service providers listed in Section 4, for the specific purposes described.
• For legal compliance, when required by law, court order, subpoena, or lawful government request.
• To protect rights and safety, to enforce our Terms and Conditions, prevent fraud, or defend legal claims.
• In a business transfer: if Neat Roots Inc is acquired, merged, or restructured, your information may transfer to the successor entity, which will remain bound by this Privacy Policy.

8. International data transfers

Neat Roots Inc is based in the United States. Our service providers operate in various countries. If you access our Services from outside the United States, including India, Pakistan, the European Union, or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

• Order and transaction records: at least 7 years, as required for US tax and accounting compliance.

• Security logs from Wordfence: typically 30 to 90 days, longer if there is an active threat.
• Marketing analytics: per the standard retention windows of each analytics provider.

10. Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

For students aged 13 to 17, we require parental or guardian consent before enrollment. The parent or guardian is the contracting party for any program enrolled on behalf of a minor.

For children under 13, the parent or guardian must enroll on the child's behalf and is the account holder of record.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information without your consent, contact us at info@neatroots.com and we will delete the information promptly.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct: request correction of inaccurate information.
• Delete: request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Opt out: unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
• Withdraw consent: where we rely on consent to process your data.
• Data portability: request your information in a portable format.
